When faced with overt sin, as with the woman taken in adultery, Jesus left no doubt about his belief that she had done wrong - but he left her space to rebuild her life. Part of the problem with modern society is that half the time it is not willing to be clear about what is wrong - and what is acceptable; and if you happen to commit one of the modern deadly sins (being racist for example) your public life is over - however if you commit an acceptable sin (e.g. adultery) most people will barely raise an eyebrow, and it certainly won't block your political advancement.

The challenge for the church is to disturb the comfortable whilst comforting the disturbed. This is at the core of our ministry here - we are to encourage and build up the Christian brothers struggling with the issue of being BLs, and also showing to non-Christian BLs that there is the possibility of forgiven. Our problem is the one same as Jesus faced - of being amongst the sinners and thereby giving the impression we don't consider them to be doing wrong.

So to answer the question - I believe that Jesus would be clear in stating his opposition to the stance of NAMBLA - but would look for an opportunity to go out to a restaurant for a meal with them!
