More proof that organized religion is a farce. First of all let me say that I'm very much on your side of the coin. There isn't much that I can say that is going to change anything that has transpired so far. I feel more sympathetic towards you for getting into a situation where you've been subjected to ideals that go 'out the window' once push comes to shove. For having trusted people that call themselves understanding and loving. Taking this whole thread into account so far it is quite clear that your 'friends' and 'community' (with the exception of this board 'community') are playing CYA (Cover Your Ass) when it comes to their own reputation and fears. Starting with your 'friend' J who more than likely felt he should say something about your attractions only to CYA in case something happened and everyone looked towards him for not saying anything. The Youth Pastor: CYA in case his reputation is spoiled as a church leader. B's parents: CYA in case something had happened. Protecting their son should be their first priority however, they're playing up to hysteria. What has really got my eyes rolling in disgust is the thinking of 'Homo is ok unless it applies to our family'. Nothing counts anymore dude. Nothing you've done or have not done in the past is going to count as a credit to your integrity unless you leave it between you and God. If He is the final judge, jury and executioner then the truth is already known, is it not? FB
