I looked over the posts you mentioned. All but your second quote has been edited to some degree. "As for the children they will harm. ... We can only offer them a hand on the day they hit bottom and are willing to change their harmful ways." No one was mentioned or even hinted at in the entire post, as to who he was refering to. It was a blanket statement that seemed to be refering to anyone that molested children, not you or lutki, or even anyone on the board. I've become so used to having false allegations thrown around, even towards me, (remember A.I.?) that I didn't pay much attention to these. But since they are accusing of illegal activities, rather than just accusing someone og being a homophobe, or whatever, they are a bit more serious. I think it would have been simpler if you had just replied that you don't engage in those activities as soon as he started implying that you did. I remember you said something along those lines in one post, but it was put in a fancy artistic way that the casual reader may not have understood. Sometimes being blunt (like "hey, dude, I don't have sex with kids"} is the best way. I'll post a general guideline about making false assumptions and allegations, but it's hard to keep people from jumping to conclusions. If it's the wrong conclusion, just say so in a reply. I'm not going to spend the hours it would require to search out any sentence that might be suspect. But if you feel strongly enough about it to search for them, I'll look them over. Dakota |
