Your post was wonderful! It's interesting that you were so young when you realized you were attracted to younger boys. I didn't realize my own orientation until I was in my mid-20s! (although I should have noticed the signs earlier.) I do not think our orientation is the result of sin, but rather the result of the way we are designed biologically and psychologically. Whether that means God made us boylovers, or in general designed people so they can become boylovers under certain environmental circumstances, I don't know. I am noticing how many other physical, emotional, and intellectual characteristics vary widely in people. Some are considered normal variation, some are considered disabilities or disorders, and some are just inconveniences (e.g., allergies). It seems unreasonable to expect that similar variations would not occur in sexual orientation. It's just that society is still in the middle ages when it comes to dealing with variation in sexual orientation. Well, I found your thoughts fascinating, and I hope you will continue to post! Mark |
