F.O.D., I'm not too concerned about my security at this point, but more so about the risk to others who know me. In the past 20 years, I've had my apartment robbed once, wrecked 4 times (by friends), been in 3 cars of mine when they were totaled, had a gun pointed in my direction, had the driver of a stolen truck (unknown to me till afterwards) sleep over while the truck was parked outside, been threatened with extortion that I went to a lawyer, received an anonymous letter (signed faggot finders) saying I better move out of the community where I live or be moved which I took to pastor & police, had second degree burn to my face from an automobile engine additive that caught on fire and lost all my friends. (I'm beginning to sound like Paul: shipwrecked twice, etc.!) There are some persons who are or were in my life though who would be shaken if something happened to me, and others who if they were now identified as ones of whom I'm speaking in the messages who would be shaken -- maybe fearful of what unknowns might happen. I have come to see my role/vocation in the Church as prophet (as opposed to pastor, teacher, etc.), but as forthteller, not foreteller. I know your anticipation but, sorry, I'm getting a cold from exhaustion this week, so I need to rest before continuing the "... years ago series." Tomorrow's a day off from work, I hope a restful one! Ray |
