Tedd - I am so sad to hear this story. It is obvious that Joshua was putting up a wall to protect himself from the outside world, when in fact the pain was coming from the inside. You tried to help, but you are only human and could only do so much. You tried your best and you MUST believe that it wasn't your fault. Just as we have a choice to turn to God, Joshua had a choice to turn to you. Nobody could MAKE him decide where to turn, and what happened HAD to happen because he, of his own free will, chose to block you out. I have to believe that God will have mercy on Joshua and will ease, in time, the family's horrible pain. I also think that Chris will see, more than ever before, that letting you in has blessed his own life. You are not alone.
