Turned off by Christians for being BL?

[I've also posted this or a similar message to at least one other BL-friendly forum] If you've been turned off by the behavior of Christians in general, a particular church, or organzied Christianity in general, this may be of interest. I found these words in my church's Ash Wednesday service's "Litany of Penitence": Accept our repentance, O God. For all false judgments, for uncharitable thoughts toward our neighbors, and for our prejudice and contempt toward those who differ from us. Hearing some of your stories about how the church has done the opposite (and being reminded that I am guilty also) is eye-opening. I hope that the next time I am guilty of making false judgements that I remember these words and the grief such false judgements can cause.
