"I am" in TV ads

The "I AM Superman" Lotus Notes commercials on TV, where people are holding up signs that said "I AM" initially gave me the willies - talking God's name in vain. Only later did I see words like "Connected", "Productive" etc. on the screen next to the signs and figured out what the commercial was trying to say. I hope Lotus isn't using these ads in Christian publications or to sponsor Christian TV shows, they could prove ineffective or worse as people focus on the "I AM" and not the product.
