Helping YF with homework

The last time I helped E with his homework, it ended in a mighty row! I was trying to get him to see the "real" answer which I know from my own experience and studies. He only wanted me to be saying what his teacher was saying, ie giving some simplistic answer which was basically wrong. We both got so frustrated with each other, I started raising my voice, asking him why he wanted to be a sheep, he threw his books down and stormed off! (it's kinda funny to remember in hindsight). I didn't want us to go to bed with that sort of quarrel between us, so I took him by his hand and said let's go for an evening stroll. We came back best of friends :) His mum just stared at us, thought we were weird! Yelling at each other one moment, walking hand-in-hand like two lovers the next. She didn't know what to make of us! Neither do we! hehe I wonder how many fights we'll have when he comes to visit in summer! F.O.D. |
