My recommendation: Hold off on more sex until you get married (assuming that happens), regardless of how the camp issue turns out. With respect to the camp, he's right about setting a good example. I can't speak for mentoring, but you would benefit from someone to hold you accountable. Perhaps if he found you someone with their own issues (i.e. an "equal") you could hold each other accountable on a peer basis. Maybe he is such a person? As for lust with people other than your girlfriend - This is something you will have to work out. Perhaps by spending time along with your girlfriend just looking into her eyes (keeping your pants on) may help. You are not alone - President Jimmy Carter (and most other men) have the lust problem, albeit not with boys. I don't know what's going on in your head and how strong this lust is, so I can only throw ideas into the air, they may not apply to you. -d (david_tx on IRC, this may be my last post here for a week, by the way) |
