You mentioned the boy's family, so I thought I'd add a bit about that from Quandry's posts over the months, so you can pray with more insight. Cody was Quandry's neighbour, as I recall, living with his mum and sister. His mother was badly neglectful of the boy, and that's how he came into Quandry's life. Cody would spend long periods of time living with Quandry while his mother went off somewhere. It transpired around December or January that the Child Protection Services got in touch with Quandry, while the mother was away. Apparently she was not really Cody's mother, she had abducted him and used him to get child support money. That's why she had gone - she had to keep ahead of the law. So Cody remained with Quandry, and they currently have adoption procedures in place. Cody was upset about his mum, but then too he was really happy now that Quandry could become his real Dad. All the preparations for the adoption - social workers' reports, judge's attitude etc, were positive. The decision was to be made soon. And now this accident has occurred. May God breath life into the boy's body and bless this small family. F.O.D. |
