Hi Ben, I discern from your recent posts that you are getting closer and closer to accepting Christ in your life. I would certainly count it a blessing that you feel the need for Him, and are not encumbered with the "wonderful distractions of women and family and other blessings that those around me [you] have." Everyone needs Him in their life, but not everyone wants Him. Then there are those who want Him, but are so wrapped up in the cares of this life that they are not willing to accept Him. "Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled." Matthew 5:6 I believe this is where many of us (BL's) fit. Jesus isn't talking about people who have just missed a meal or two, I believe He is addressing this to those who are starved and parched from being in a wilderness of traditional, unaccepting religion, and are craving something more. God puts the bait out, if we're hungry fish, we'll grab it, and hopefully the hook will be set deep in our jaw. God bless you and grant you peace, grace, perseverance and endurance.
