Well, in fact, the disputed terms in Paul's passages on homosexuality were theorized by one prominent biblical scholar as referring to exploitative pederastic relationships (he emphasizes the exploitative part). This argument has been popularized by many people in the Christian gay community to the belief that "Paul wasn't talking about gays; he was talking about child molesters (i.e. all pederasts)." Certainly pederasty would have been the most common form of homosexuality that Paul knew, but it's not clear whether he held pederasty to be especially sinful because of the intergenerational aspect.
