thanks for the thoughts, f.o.d. i believe that those few verses refer actually not to christians, but to the people who have given up on God. he points them out in the preceding verses. way back in december of 98, ken posted a good post on this very subject, which i used to help me with this verse. he says it a lot better than i can, so check out his post if you want to. it is entitled "to fod and the rest of you" or something like that... as far as why paul only points out homosexual lust here, i think it is because that was his audience...just like in other letters he focusses on specific problems with those he is writing to. let me knwo what you think... scott |
