Hi All --- I felt this was worth passing on to everyone: I believe this is something I can and will support. I feel that the oil companies are holding the American public hostage with their relentless price increases on motor fuel. *** Not an urban legend any more, since CNN did a story on it today. [April 15, 1999] Apparently this is big enough now that a noteworthy percentage of the U.S. population really will not buy gas on the 30th. (The 30th is a full moon, by the way.) The so-called oil cartel has decided to slow production by some 2 million barrels per day to drive up the price. I have decided to see how many Americans we can get to NOT BUY ANY GASOLINE on one particular day! Let's have a GAS OUT! Do not buy any gasoline on APRIL 30, 1999!!!!! Buy on Thursday before, or Saturday after. Do not buy any gasoline on FRIDAY, APRIL 30, 1999. Wanna help? Send this message to everyone you know. Ask them to do the same.
