You silly! In Europe the price of fuel is about $1/litre. I don't know how that works out in gallons, but I think the price in the US is equivalent to about 50¢/litre, maybe less. High prices indeed! I don't particularly see how it'll help things by not buying any fuel on just the one day, Friday, if it just means everyone going to buy what they want on Thursday or Saturday anyway! Not buying any fuel for one month, now that would be worth thinking about! hehe I appreciate the thought though. I'm sure the petrol companies are interested mostly in their own profits. F.O.D. give me a bicycle any day... |
