Hello Gloria, The purpose of God's Love is not to challenge us. It is to comfort and strengthen us. Peter realized his weaknesses and lack of faith after he denied Christ, and the strength to overcome it did not come from Peter, but from Jesus Himself on the day of Pentecost when the Holy Ghost descended on the 120 in the upper room. That is what we as boylovers want, the strength and faith FROM GOD, not from within ourselves. If we are to depend on ourselves, then we will never have God in our lives. love of Christ, Andy |
