(BTW, are you a baptist? i just went to a baptist church last sunday, and you sound eeriely like their pastor...just curious.) who did jesus eat and travel and talk with? the pharisees, and sadducees, who "knew" god, and who were "assured of salvation?" no, he communed with the prostitutes, and the tax collectors, and the thieves, and te beggars and cripples. he came to share his wonderful love with them, to offer them hope, and to offer them love and a home in heaven with his wonderful, loving, accepting, calm, and graceful Father. Peter was one of the great disciples, yet after following Jesus for a long time, he denied Him three times in a few hours!!! by your logic, peter will also be in hell.... i dont know about you, but I am looking forward to meeting my daddy up in heaven, and i will run into his arms and he will hold me in His love forever...even though i am not perfect here on earth. scott |
