Heather: My concern arises from the Great Commission which is given to local Bible believing churches: Mt 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Since the need of people today is for the power of God in their lives so that they can "observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you", it is necessary for people to be born again and delivered from their sins. My concern is also that you apparantly have been deluded by some power or philosophy into believing that "christians" can BE boylovers. They can HAVE BEEN boylovers. But they can't BE boylovers. If one is saved, one is delivered from the sinfull patterns of behavior that kept them in darkness before they were saved. But don't take my word for it! 1Jo 2:3 ¶ And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. 6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked. Christians still sin after they are saved. But they do not continue in sin. And they don't advocate that it is OK to continue in sin. My impression on the continuing nature of the sodomy and pederasty of the people who post here is based on the perverse things they right and believe. I read much of religious talk and nothing of deliverance from sin. I have not been hurt by a practicing pedophile. I was hurt by a series of lutheran ministers who believed that what they were doing was good but changed the Gospel of the Bible to a false Gospel that fooled people into believing that it was OK to remain under sin's dominion and that God will not save you from your sins but is only strong enough to save you in your sins. So I do have first hand knowledge about what most of the religious but lost people on this board are being deceived by and into. Maybe you don't feel now that a Lutheran pastor who deludes people into a false sense of salvation is wicked, but at the bar of God's justice when you face an angry God you will certainly change your mind about how you feel about his misleading you now. |
