I'm glad that you're concerned about the state of Ben's soul – and also, evidently, the state of my soul and that of the "foolish, wicked lutheran fool." Could you explain, though, where you concern arises from? I'm not quite sure why you are alarmed at reading the post of a celibate Christian who is penitently asking for assistance in refraining from masturbation; nor am I sure why you've taken umbrage at a reply which suggests that the person in question should ask forgiveness from God and seek God's help in spiritual struggles. Does this go against your beliefs in some way? I sense that you or someone you know has been hurt in the past by a practicing pedophile; feel free to share your story if it would help. Heather |
