No one takes the whole Bible literally

A lot of people say they do, but I have never met anyone who does. Most or all Christians ignore teachings such as the following: Paul's command for women to have their heads covered when they pray Old Testament command to kill children who disobey their parents Jesus' command to take out your eye if it causes you to sin The Earth has four corners etc., etc. And different people/denominations/congregations dismiss different parts of the Bible.
