I agree, I'm pretty sure King David and Jonathan never had sex. But in the light of what's written about their love for each other, I think you're denying the evidence if you think their kiss was nothing more than an uncle kissing his nephew goodbye. Maybe not "tonguing", but certainly not devoid of emotional attachment. Perhaps not homosexual, but certainly homophilic. The expression of love between two men who were closer than "just good mates". In other words, kissing someone you love isn't going to keep you out of the kingdom of God. Respectfully, F.O.D. |
