hey f.o.d., i appreciate your incitefulness. it clear that david and jonathans relationship trascended what a typical western male to male friendship encompasses. their friendship far surpasses what is known as friendship now. nowadays if you know someone by thier first name they're considered friends. david and jonathan were willing to die for each other. they shared common interests, chief amongst these was thier love for God. f.o.d. you've inspired me to study their relationship further. perhaps their society allowed for men show to more affection for one another than ours does today. yes they loved each other deeply, but it was not homosexual. |
