hey tks, i'm not so sure that feeling with our hearts is such a great idea. abram and sarai felt with thier hearts and ishmael was the result. because of that israel has had no peace for a very long time. what about david. he followed his heart and wound up in an adulteress relationship which culminated in murder.or how bout the adulteress that the crowd wanted to stone.Jesus didn't tell her to follow her heart, but to go and sin no more. or how bout from the book of acts when ananias and his wife lied about how much they got for the sale of thier property.i think they paid the ultimate price for following thier heart. the bible also tells us to renew our minds on a daily basis so there may not be anything wrong with listening to the Spirit with our minds but that heart may not be to reliable. the borg |
