Only "God" can know that for sure. I'll ask him next time we have a talk and will let you know the answer ;) I'll be looking forward to hearing about it ;) My parents were brought up in a very ummmmmmmmm narrow slice of Christianity, where some people within their denomination, thought all the OTHER Christians were going to hell, because they didn't believe exactly as they did. So there you go. Even being a Good Christian, doesn't guarantee a sure place in Heaven, according to some folks. Yeah...I've meant some of them...I usually end up in a heated quarrel with these kind of Christians. I'm not sure how anyone can have the audacity to believe that they "know" what GOD thinks. When this question comes up, I always think about the old agnostic's tale about the elephant and the blind men (do you know it?) I'm quite fond of the standard evangelical response to the question "how can you really know what the elephant is?": ...what about if the elephant speaks? ...revelationary knowledge, I think it's called.... The conscequences of that magnitude of knowledge is way beyond me. Like the ol'apostle says: "may you have power...to know this love that surpasses knowledge..." Eph 3:18-19 Waitin' for ya :) F.O.D. |
