Hi Ben, Greetings in Jesus' Name, I rejoice with you, my newest brother. Praise God!!! It's so wonderful when a new person is adopted into God's holy family. My friend, the way that you so carefully studied God's word to find the truth before you accepted Christ is inspiring. It is more proof for me that God's word is indeed the truth. It gives me hope AND strengthens my faith. We are all blessed beyond words when someone makes an informed decision to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior. I'm sure your family is pretty upset. My dad is probably still very upset with me because I left the Catholic church a long time ago. However, he can't deny (and I'll bet your family will be the same way with you) the results of my faith. I am sober today because of my faith in Christ Jesus, and I have mannaged to gain some serenity in my life. I'm sure, in time, your family will see what a difference your faith will make in your life. I pray that you will be a living example of the Gospel for them to see. May God truly bless you, my brother, in your continued walk with God. I have a Bible passage for you brother: "How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!
