I'm so grateful you found us! Your post is wonderful (not boring at all). You have a unique perspective--I'm pretty sure you're the first former loved boy ever at CBF. I'd enjoy hearing more about your current situation as well as the relationship you had as a boy (as much as you feel comfortable and safe posting). You have a lot to contribute, so I hope you'll post more. As for me, I'm in my 30's and I live in a rural part of the U.S. I teach 8th-12th grade at a conservative Christian school. Homophobia is rampant here, but I really enjoy the students. Like you, I have felt much closer to God once I accepted my orientation. I know God loves me, but there are still times when I feel depressed about people's lack of understanding, and about the difficulty I have with finding a special relationship with a boy. That's why CBF is so important as a place for support. I hope you'll find it to be an encouraging place where you can share both your joys and your frustrations.
