Dear John Guard,

God has a long history of using the most unlikely people for His work. Look at the story of David and Goliath. Who would have sent a young boy to kill a huge giant and great warrior. God did! Moses was no leader of people, he even admitted it, but God used him to lead his people out of Egypt. Paul was a very influential and dangerous persecutor of early Christians, he would drag them out of their houses to be put to death. But he became one of THE most important leaders of the early church and wrote some of the greatest letters in the New Testiment.

God's own Son was born the poorest of the poor, and throughout His life probably never owned more than the clothes on His back.

I think most Christian's today are so concerned over the things of this world that they forget that this life is is actually a very short period of time comparred to eternity. A lot of churches have become big social clubs, and bear little resemblance to the early Christian churches.

Yes, I think there will be quite a few supprises when Jesus comes back here.

Your's in Christ's Love,
Chris
