Just thought that I would tell you the end of the story. By the next day, M did not forget what had happened at all and he didn't hesitate to remind me. BUT, he loved me just the same. I still got a morning hug and we still talked the way we always talked. In fact, the next day, I asked him to spend Saturday morning with me and he said, "Well maybe". We left it that he could decide when I came by on Saturday morning to have coffee with his dad. So I dropped by his house on Saturday morning and he was dressed and ready to spend the day with me! So, we spent the WHOLE day together. I am totally amazed at M's ability to not hold any hard feelings against me for putting him in a tough situation. What an awesome kid...what a blessing. God WILL bless those who follow him in Jesus name. I really am convinced of that. You are not alone.
