Catholic?

Hi all, I have a question for all the catholics on the board. I am not religious, never have been really. I have been to one catholic service, but it was while I was in Basic Training for the Army and I went just to get away from the drill seargents for a short time. I know that is sad, but that was the only time you could be treated like a human and not an animal. Anyway, my question is this. Can I, as a non catholic go to confession? I really need to tell someone of my "Boylove" feelings and I have heard that a priest is forbidden by religious and legal rules from disclosing information from a confession. If you think this is a possible outlet for me, could you please tell me the steps I need to take so I do not look like a fool. I know this is a strange request, but I really need to vent to someone I know will not reveal me. |
