tks - Thanks for the warning about RDC. I've endured so much persecution in the real world, I think I can handle any words that someone might send along. In Paul's words, I am wearing my armour of righteousness. Yes, I have changed in a short time. There is alot of controversy over my church's expectation that all members be completely committed and have the same foundation of understanding and belief. Guests are welcome of course and nobody is under any pressure to join if they don't want to be committed, both in belief and in action. For those who really are committed to living their lives by the bible in every facet of their lives, my church offers a wonderful way to do it in a contemporary, upbeat, youthful environment. We are commmitted to self examination, to prayer, to repentence and to change in aspiring to be like Jesus (with the understanding that we will all fall short). One of the things that many of us do is to, after hearing a sermon, make a decision to changing something in our lives that we learned from the sermon. How many of us hear the preacher say, shake our heads and say, "Yeah, he's right", and then walk away doing the same old things. Committment to change and encouraging other brothers and sisters to do the same keeps us always growing in our faith. Thanks for your observations! You are not alone.
