Jim: I wanted your input on the "Two other interesting questions for society:", specificly when or if, given the opportunity, society or parents have the right or responsibility to tune sexuality. I put the "These are for Jim" line two paragraphs too low. Sorry. Remember: We are already tuning gender preference (test-tube babies, and a recent "try for a boy" quasi-joke thread in BC), tuning against genetic diseases, tuning in favor of children who grow up to be responsible adults (well, SOME people are - alas, there are lousy parents out there), tuning in favor of an (allegedly) educated society in the USA, and other kinds of tuning.
