And yes, some people who are into animals are romantic about it, they would marry their animal companion if they could. Would the ancients have said "a small number of men are attracted to animals..." or "all men are attracted to men, women, and animals..."? Note - if you eliminate college pranks and farm-boy experimentation on the human/animal side and you eliminate fathers or mom's-boyfriends going on a sexual power trip with their children or girlfriend's children on adult/child side, my guess is adult/child sex still would outnumber human/animal sex. But this is just a hunch. I do know the BL IRC channels that I know about are much more active than the animal-love IRC channels I know about.
