Hi Happy Prince, That was very inspiring. God is indeed having a love affair with His children here on earth. And we who accept God's love in our lives by accepting His Son as our Savior become partisipants in this love affair. We become God's children, part of His family. I looked for the word love in the concordance in my Bible and it is one of the most reoccuring words in the book. "God" and "Lord" are used about as much. Love must be THE most important theme in God's word. It looks like it's talked about more than anything else. Here is a passage that I think kind of sums things up very well: "Dear friends, let us love one another. For love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed His love among us: He sent His one and only Son into the world that we might live through Him. This is love: not that we loved God but that He loved us and sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and His love is made complete in us." 1 John 4:7-12 This has inspired me to do some posts here about who we are in the Lord. When we become Christians, we become new creatures. We become His children. Thank you so much for sharing your faith and understanding with us, friend. You are definatly on the right track.
