They are interesting questions, d. I think I'll have to continue the discussion with her by email and see how far this perspective can go. Personally the view of sex for procreation seems rather untenable to me, and I was surprised to hear her support it, but I ought to get at her again to learn the consistency (or otherwise?) of it.
