If you had offered, it would have been because your head was telling you that to offer the boy a sanctuary from difficult times was in his best interests while, in truth, the only true relief from difficult times is to be with the ones who love you the most...no matter what. On the other hand, speaking your mind would have done nothing more than to show the people you are concerned with how great your concern is...and they would love you all the more for it. Follow your HEART. As opposed to the advice of friends and family, your heart will never steer you wrong. :) |
