Hi d, I don't know what "anal-retentive" means but here is my advise on this situation. First of all, I can't help but think of how any, still in the closet, gays would have felt after witnessing those skits you mentioned. Probably not very good I would think. And this is a real problem for gays (and boylovers, of course) who attend church. I think that if I would have been there, I would have felt really bad about what they did. Our sexuality is not a joke to us. It is serious business because of the way society (and the churches too, I'm afraid) have treated us. Depression can become a very real factor in our lives, and even suicide. This is definately NOT funny by almost anyones standards. I know that this group was just having some fun and probably din't even think that they might be seriously offending or hurting someone by it, but the reality is that it does offend and it does hurt after a while (and maybe a short while at that.) So here is my humble advise, d. I think that if you feel lead by te Spirit to stand up for what is right and say something about this, then by all means, do so. However, if you feel that it might do more harm than good to say something, then maybe it would be better to remain silent. I would certainly seek wisdom from the Lord on this issue, for sure.
