When it comes to [censored], the wife analogy holds only if (in my opinion) you have a lifelong monogomous relationship AND you both have a point of view that neither cross-generational and same-gender [censored] is a sin in and of itself (there is disagreement within Christianity on this). I think the only two cases that might apply are 1) a geniune monogomous relationship that will or is intended to continue into adulthood, for life. 2) one or both parties is expected to not live to see the end of the [censored] part of the relationship. Examples: kid or adult dying of illness. Adult is near the end of his expected lifespan. So I think the answer to your question is that your list is correct except #2 (Thinking about [censored] with my yf, no.) would in almost all cases be "yes". I am not married, for me to dwell on thoughts of [censored] with a girlfriend is the same, unless it was in the future-after-we-marry sense. -David ("d") |
