Pardon my French, but that man-made bull****.

This particular aspect of Christianity has troubled me as well. If you are confident that you will be forgiven whatever sin you commit, then why bother worrying about committing the sins?

Christ may have died for our sins, but it does not necessarily follow that we could repeatedly sin with full knowledge that we have done so and expect to be forgiven. I don't think that's exactly what Christ had in mind when he sacrificed himself for us. If he had known how his beliefs were being perverted, do you think he would have been so quick to die for our worthless lives?

No, I think that that particular aspect of Christianity is something that man created to make himself feel better when he sins...not something that is given credence in the blood of Christ.

But that's just my opinion.
