hey mark, i truly believe that BL is a gift from God to a select few of us here on earth... it says somewhere in the Bible that everything He created is good. it is when we distort it that it turns to evil. i have no problem with being a BL, or even with having sexual thoughts about boys. i do have a problem when those thoughts come between me and God. thankfully, that does not happen too often. the thread i started not too long ago was during a period of personal doubt and self-criticism. i am a perfectionist, and every once in a while i convince myself that i need to be perfect before God. then, i come to my senses, and realize that God loves me no matter what...just the way that i am. i guess what i am saying is that even though i struggle with the desires of the flesh, being a BL has proved far more benieficial to me than otherwise. i have made some incredible friends, i have loved and been loved more than i can remember. i have seen the Lord shining bright in young faces, and i have seen His wonderful healing hand in their hearts. when i find myself drawing away from God into unhealthy desires, and lust for boys, i sometimes need to step back and look Heaven-ward for a while... only when you have Truly Accepted the amazing gift of God's grace, will you be content. He offers it to us, not on the basis of our behavior, not on our thoughts, but in love, freely, to all. once you feel His acceptance, and know that He will never turn you away, you will be secure in yourself, and you will see yourself through His eyes...
