Hi All, I just started reading a new book I found in the "Gay and Lesbian" section of the local Barnes and Nobel" bookstore (I just love that store, it always smells like great coffee.). And I just started reading it, it is "Stranger at the Gate, To be Gay and Christian in America". It is like an autobiography written by a gentleman by the name of Mel White. As far as I know right now, Mel White was/is an Evangelical Minister, family man, and was one of THE most talented Writer/Supporter of the religious right wing. He worked with , and was friends with, men like Jerry Falwell, Jim Bakker, Pat Robertson, and Billy Graham. And he was Gay. This is a book about his struggles with his sexuality, to be openly gay and Christian, and what he had to suffer from these men whom he respected. I just started to get into it but from the very first few pages, it is looking very good. Your's in Christ's Love, Chris |
