The thread above is in any way any more relevant than mine was. I am merely reflecting on the fact that most of what I said had already been said within the thread. Second, are you trying to tell me that just because we are boylovers that we are better able to see the fact that, if the "crime" did happen, it was no more than child's play? I beg to differ. We as boylovers have no more of a monopoly on common sense than any other group. My main concern here is not even with the boy at this moment. My concern is that we as boylovers are taking a miscarriage of justice and compounding the error with a blatantly biased viewpoint. The writer of the petition was letting his bias show through when he accepted and used misconceptions without trying to establish the facts. This is the same kind of blind prejudice that we as boylovers are expected to listen to and accept (or not) on a daily basis. On the other hand, I will not blindly accept misconceptions as truths without first backing them up as facts. I am no less concerned about the miscarriage of justice than anyone else but I will NOT back a petition that is so inaccurate. That is the entirety of my position...not a lack of emotion for the boy.
