Hi ya Chris, yep that woman is in all of us and sometimes we all do the human thing, we drive on by. But I do think that we are offered other times later on in our lives that will make us feel better about those missed moments to lend a hand. I've done it, driving into the city where my Hubby works, there are alot of homeless and People who they say are druggies or pushers hang out, they hang out there for a variety of reasons. To sell whatever they may be selling, sex/booze/drugs/stolen merchandise. I have ignored them several times b/c I'm too scared, have my kids w/me and I am just too plain scared to offer money, or help. These people hang out near where my husband works b/c in the winter there is alot of hot air that comes up from under the plant and these homeless people will lay on or near it to keep warm thru the night, the first time I saw that , it broke my heart. I could go on and on but I won't . Thanks for sharing your sweet personality w/me tho. :o) |
