Hi Triple Q, You feel tortured by your thoughts, by your past? I feel the same way evey day, Q. I think we all have our demons, our closets full of skeletons and scary things. But somehow, most of us find a way to keep going on with life! And it is not easy, not by a long shot, but we do it anyway because we have something much better than this world has to offer us. T.Q., I know you are either an athiest or agnostic, I am not sure which, but in any case, you cannot be either of these things AND have the same thing that gives us the hope and strength to carry on with our lives...sometimes through impossable odds. You cannot have our faith that gives us hope and life, and also be one of these. It is not posable. But what IS possable, what can happen if you desire it so much, is that you CAN have the things you mentioned by doing just one, simple thing. Accept God! Put aside whatever it is that is keeping you from believing, and simply believe! You said you desired to be innocent, then take the right step in that direction, but let God do it for you. Triple Q, you have the right to live a good and meaningful life just like anyone else. You do not have to feel tortured by darkness anymore. But you DO have to make a step twords God in order for Him to do this for you. I have done this in my life many times over, going twords God. I have also taken some steps back at times, but, no matter, I just keep going forward anyway, despite my setbacks. And I know what is waiting for me at the end of this life...which will not be an end but rather, a beginning. Why don't you make that journey as well? What do you have to lose? How about that closet full of bad things? I believe God wil start with that....He usually always does. Love, Chris |
