It always "feels" better when you are close, but distance has it's advantages too. Now that he's emailing you, he might tell you things that would be too embarrassing to tell you face-to-face. It's a lot easier when kids are shy (or easily embarrassed) to write it down. I've actually written letters to a few of the boys I know and then hand-delivered them to them since they lived so close. The responses were...shall we say, embarrassingly sincere. But be careful what you write from this end. There is no telling who has access. Yes, the "poesy" part was where Y comes in. A person whose heart is too full of love is bound to find a way to release some of it. Love |
