Why do you call yourself a boylover? Well, actually, I don't. It's just the label which the boylover community made for itself before I found it. But I don't see any point quibbling over nomenclature, so I let the label stand. Besides, it's true enough a description. If I were to talk with someone outside the community then I'd probably uses phrases like "I love kids to bits. It's weird, it's like I'm in love with them". I'm of the opinion that talking about it in terms of "being in love" rather than "sexual attracted to" makes it more accessible to other adults, easier to understand. Not that I've ever talked about it in depth with anyone outside of the boylove support boards. I guess my real question is: Why do you hang out with the boylove community, risking misunderstanding from your fellow Christians, rather than seek out a nonboylove support group that welcomes minor-attracted adults? Is there such a support group? Do you mean a support group in real life? I haven't even found a support group that welcomes same-sex attracted adults in my real-life community, never mind minor-attracted adults. F.O.D. |
