Hey, I was just watching a DVD of the musical "Oliver!" last night. I love that movie. You have adorable Mark Lester and Jack Wild along with a cast of hundreds of boys (both in the workhouse and with Fagin). And the singing! I love it. As I was watching it, I began to wonder if Fagin was really a boylover. Let's see, he always calls them his "dears", he enjoys caring for them and living with him, and he was told that they would do "anything" for him. Some of the scenes when he is looking at sweet sleeping Oliver show a kindness and care that he doesn't as a rule show with all the other boys. But, who wouldn't be happy to be in his situation? I think it would be ideal! Just my thoughts. Lovely singing boys, ahhh. |
