Yet another killer movie!

Hi Everyone, I have no idea why I am catching these really great boylover-friendly movies lately, but I saw another really good one last night. I guess sometimes insomnia has it's benefits. For all you foriegn movie fans, this one is a real "must see". It is a French movie with english sub-titles called "Ma Vie en Rose". I have no idea what the title means, it might as well be in Greek for me....I almost flunked out of Spanish class in high school so French is impossable for me. But, no matter, this movie is moving and heart-warming. It is about a seven year old boy who believes he is really a little girl. He falls in love with another beautiful seven year old boy who just happens to be the son of his father's boss. The parents of both boys are quite taken back by this, to say the least, but the boys hold thie own. The ending is very nice, and will bring a tear to your eyes. I fell very much in love with the boys (although I have a sneeking suspision that the one boy may have been a little girl actor in real life....but no matter), and the story is really quite good, a is the acting, which I think is supperb. This one gets a high rating from me....a must see if you can find it. I saw it on Showtime. Your movie-lovin' brother in Christ, Chris |
