Hi BLues, You must have been there around the first Christmas I ever spent with my YF, L. Where were you hiding? My friend, that brought back some VERY nice memories for me. L. was just waiting for me to show up at his hous Christmas Eve that year, he was only nine years old. You should have seen his face just light up when I got there. I had some presents for him, but these were opened and put aside so that he could enjoy his best present, me. He sat on my lap that entire evening, and if I tried to move or get up, he would just hold me tighter. But when I had to leave, he just begged me to stay. I spent quite a few Christmas holidays with L. afte that magical first one, and they have all been really great, but I will never forget that very first one. It really warms my heart to remember it. Thank you very much for that poem, BLues, you really made my morning. Say, how did you like the "Christmas present" I sent you and Cherub? I love you guys....Merry Christmas!!! Love, Chris |
