Proper Fear

Hi Mark: This is a difficult subject, but I thought I would try to balance it. First the bible teaches, "The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom", whereas the "Fear of man is a snare to the soul". So it is a matter of balancing these fears, with what is from God, and what is not. Truths from the word of God are like laws of nature, they cannot be broken. Such as Gravity. If I say I do not believe it, it won't matter if I step off a building. It will still affect me, unless I am in space. Therefore, we need to look at all these teachings and see what is the good Lord trying to ask us to do. Remember, the teacher is under a greater judgement. If a teacher does not teach what is properly in the word of God, then all his pupils will go in error. I will pray for you, and for that matter myself and all us BLers.
